To stay true to its healthy organic outlook, Sacred Grounds Organic Coffee's decaffeinated has been processed using the The Swiss Water method of decaffeination which employs a special double soaking process that is 100% chemical free, and removes 97.7% of the caffeine from the beans.

Firstly, a solution of flavour saturated water is produced by soaking a batch of green beans. These beans are then removed and the water is passed through a carbon filter, which only removes the caffeine leaving the flavour oils in the remaining solution. Then the beans that are delivered to us for roasting are soaked in this solution to remove the caffeine but leave in all the flavours. This produces a coffee that is 99.9% caffeine free, yet still dispays all of its flavours.

Sacred Grounds Organic Coffee uses a 100% Arabica Colombian bean that is also Fairtrade and 100% organic, meaning you can rest assured that you are getting the best of the best, without the caffeine.
